Apple TV+ Releases the Trailer for an upcoming 10-Part Dystopian Tale titled 'Silo,' Severance wins more Awards & more
Today Apple announced its new 10-episode drama series titled 'Silo' that is based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy of dystopian novels, is set to make its global premiere on Friday, May 5, 2023 on Apple TV+ with the initial two episodes. Bingers will be able to watch the entire series on June 30th.
“Silo” is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and any who try to find out face fatal consequences. Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer, who seeks answers about a loved one's murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don't kill you, the truth will. Apple released the Silo trailer as presented below.
“Silo” is produced for Apple TV+ by AMC Studios and based on the novels by Hugh Howey. The series is executive produced by Yost, Howey, Tyldum and Ferguson, alongside Nina Jack, Fred Golan, Rémi Aubuchon and Ingrid Escajeda.
“Severance” sweeps Best Drama and Best New Series at the Writers Guild Awards
At the 75th Annual Writers Guild Awards, Emmy Award-winning Apple TV+ hit series “Severance” landed top honors, winning Best Drama and Best New Series, as the only series to earn two major category wins. Additionally, celebrated kids and family series “Life by Ella” won Best Children’s Episodic, Long Form and Specials for the “Prison or Palace” episode. New Docuseries: “Monster Factory,” about aspiring Professional Wrestlers
Apple today announced the new documentary series “Monster Factory,” set to premiere on Friday, March 17 on Apple TV+.The six-episode series that is produced by Vox Media Studios and Public Record will have all episodes stream on Friday, March 17.
