Ming-Chi Kuo Claims that Apple Notebooks with OLED Displays will be Superior to mini-LED for thinness and more

Earlier today Patently Apple posted a report titled "Apple is reportedly planning to start using its own Custom micro-LED Displays for Apple Watch and iPhones in the next few years." The focus of the report was on Apple Watch and iPhones. MacBooks weren't mentioned adopting micro-LED (at least initially).

Ming-Chi Kuo took advantage of that gap in Bloomberg's report and tweeted that "Samsung Display plans to significantly increase the shipment of OLED panels for notebook computers in 2023, with the goal of growing 70% YoY to 60,000-7 million units in 2023.

Compared with Mini-LED, notebook computers using OLED have the advantages of thinness and diverse designs (such as: folding), so Apple will also launch OLED MacBook before the end of 2024 at the earliest. It is expected that driven by Apple, the growth rate of OLED notebook computers is expected to maintain rapid growth in the next few years.
