Apple wins a 2nd Design Patent for the iPhone 14 Pro Dynamic Island display panel and files for a slightly updated 'Keynote' Icon TM
This week Patently Apple discovered a second design patent published in the Hong Kong Patent Office database covering the iPhone 14's Dynamic Island. Interestingly this design patent comes close to what original rumors were forecasting a year ago, like the image presented below from a Kevin Kall video.
Unlike "patent applications" that provide the public with an abstract, summary and details of an invention, design patents published around the world are limited to only providing the public with design patent figures. No additional specifics of the design are made available.

iPhone Pro Dynamic Island Design Patent Figures
On November 12, 2022 Patently Apple covered the first round of design patents covering Apple's Dynamic Island display panel. In the last week, Apple was granted a second design patent in Hong Kong that only covers the display panel with it's Dynamic Island cutout as presented below. It differs in design illustrating a two-hole cutout design on the glass cutout. This would suggest that Apple's iOS makes it appear as if it's a single cut-out that's expandable.
Updated Figurative Trademark for Keynote Icon
Also this week, Apple filed for a slightly updated Figurative Trademark Icon representing the iWork app 'Keynote' icon. The slight change is presenting a clean pie chart and blue line under the chart. See the current design here for comparison.
The design was filed under application 306156784 and under International Class 09 specifically which covers: " Computer software; downloadable computer software for presentation graphics, namely, software for generating, storing, retrieving, manipulating, altering and transmitting texts and graphics for use in presentations and utility programs for use therewith; downloadable computer software for accessing, viewing, annotating, storing, editing, downloading, displaying, sharing, and distributing electronic media, images, audio, video, data, information, and documents over the internet or other communications network; computer graphics software; downloadable pre-recorded audio, video and multimedia content."
