Samsung is back with another delusional ad about why Apple iPhone users should switch to Samsung. The focus is on the Samsung Foldable Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphone. You know, the one that sells less than 1% of 2022 smartphone shipments. IDC reported in October that 1.1% of smartphones sold in 2022 will be foldables.

Considering that a couple of Chinese OEMs and Motorola sell foldable smartphones as well, clearly Samsung's volume would be less than 1%. And that's why Apple fans should switch to Samsung? Samsung's marketing team must be snacking on psychedelic candies to think that their foldables are actually creating a market frenzy so big that Apple fans just can't resist.

• Switcher: Oh you should be
• Confused Apple Dude: I should?

• Switcher: Yeah. They'll never leave you alone. (The Switcher hands the confused Apple dude the Samsung phone.)
• Apple Fans pop up over the fence and exclaim: Oh, that's cool. Can I see
• Confused Apple Dude: I can get used to this (attention).
• Apple Fans: He jumped (off the fence).

Samsung's Ad Team tried to cash in on the soccer world cup showing that the vast majority of fans in the audience have Samsung foldable smartphones. See the delusional ad for yourself here. There should be a government body to shut down false advertising at this magnitude, because Samsung has clearly crossed the line.
