Apple Original Films Announced that the Film 'Sharper' with Juliannne More will debut in February, the Selena Gomez Documentary this Friday+
Today Apple Original Films announced the release date of February 17, 2023, for the upcoming Apple Original Film “Sharper,” starring Academy Award winner Julianne Moore.
Hailing from Apple Original Films and A24, “Sharper” unfolds within the secrets of New York City, from the penthouses of Fifth Avenue to the shadowy corners of Queens. Motivations are suspect and expectations are turned upside down when nothing is as it seems.
“Sharper” is directed by Benjamin Caron and features a star-studded ensemble cast led by Moore, Sebastian Stan, Justice Smith, newcomer Briana Middleton and John Lithgow. The film is produced by Jessica Switch and Erik Feig of Picturestart along with Julianne Moore, Bart Freundlich, Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka, and written by Gatewood and Tanaka. Julia Hammer and Amy Herman serve as executive producers.

Tonight, at AFI Fest in Hollywood, Apple Original Films celebrates the world premiere of the highly anticipated documentary feature about singer, songwriter, actress, producer, entrepreneur and activist Selena Gomez, “Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me,” directed and produced by Alek Keshishian ("Madonna: Truth or Dare”), premiering in select theaters and globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, November 4, 2022.

Apple lands 17 nominations across 10 titles for inaugural Children’s & Family Emmy Awards
This week Apple TV+ was recognized with 17 nominations across 10 programs for the first annual Children’s & Family Emmy Awards. Acclaimed Apple Original series for kids and families “Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock,” “Who Are You, Charlie Brown?,” “Helpsters” and “El Deafo,” all landed top program nominations. Additionally, Apple’s Emmy Award-winning series “Ghostwriter,” as well as “Doug Unplugs,” “Hello Jack! The Kindness Show,” “Stillwater,” “Snoopy Presents: To Mom (and Dad), With Love” and “It’s The Small Things, Charlie Brown” also received recognition. The Children’s & Family Emmy Awards will be presented on Saturday, December 10 (Creative Arts) and Sunday, December 11 at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles.
