Apple's CEO Tim Cook met with Pope Francis Today while on his European stopover in Italy

Earlier today, the 85-year-old Pope met Tim Cook, the chief executive officer of Apple who is currently on a European business trip with some of his executive team. The Vatican did not disclose what transpired during the one-to-one discussion between the Pope and the CEO of the $2.4 trillion tech behemoth, Reuters reported.

 

The Vatican did not disclose what transpired during the one-to-one discussion between Pope Francis and Tim Cook, the CEO of the $2.4 trillion tech giant Apple.

 

The Pope told young people back in 2019: "Free yourself from the addiction to mobile phones. When you become a slave to your mobile phone, you lose your freedom."

 

While in Italy, Apple met with a series of individuals, companies and sites. Below Cook met with Gold Metal Paralympian Beatrice Vio and team on September 30th.
