Apple’s film ‘Cha Cha Real Smooth’ is set release in select theatres and Apple TV+ this Friday. The feature is about 22-year-old Andrew fresh out of college and without a clear life path going forward, stuck back at home with his family in New Jersey. But if there’s one thing that belongs on his nonexistent résumé, it’s how to get a party started, which lands him the perfect job of motivational dancing at the bar and bat mitzvahs for his younger brother’s classmates. When Andrew befriends a local mom, Domino, and her daughter, Lola, he finally discovers a future he wants – even if it might not be his own. Cooper Raiff writes, directs and stars alongside Dakota Johnson, Brad Garrett, Leslie Mann and newcomers Vanessa Burghardt and Evan Assante in this tale of unconventional love that brims with emotional honesty.

I’m a big fan of ‘All of Mankind.’ The series plays with history and while it keeps that inline with the storyline it’s fine. However, in a new report we’re learning that the series will have the historic Prime Minister Margret Thatcher Killed by the IRA, a complete fantasy. For many, playing with real history to satisfy the fantasy of a political class is simply wrong.  

“Schmigadoon!” Season 2 Announced

Lastly, for those who are fans of the Apple TV+ comedy series “Schmigadoon!” should know that Apple has signed it up for season 2.

Having found true love in the town of Schmigadoon, season two of “Schmigadoon!” will find Josh (Key) and Melissa (Strong) in Schmicago, the world of ’60s and ’70s musicals. For more, read Apple’s press release here.
