A new report by Strategy Analytics shows that the global 5G smartphone market continues to grow rapidly. The report further noted that Apple was the clear  leader – both in terms of shipments and in revenue.

During the third quarter of the outgoing year, shipments of 5G devices more than doubled compared to the same period in 2020. At the same time, the total revenue from the sale of such devices has tripled.

The report noted that Apple held about a quarter of the global 5G smartphone industry by shipments. Chinese vendor Xiaomi came In second place while Samsung came in third.
