Today the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office officially published a series of 51 newly granted patents for Apple Inc. Earlier today we posted two major granted patent reports covering future HMDs (01 and 02). In this particular granted patent report we briefly highlight four additional patents that were published today that may be of interest to some. The patents relate to the iPhone camera, Apple's iPhone recycling system, touch sensing with water rejection and a multi-user computer-generated reality platform. And as always, we wrap up this week's granted patent report with our traditional listing of the remaining granted patents that were issued to Apple today.

Multi-User Computer-Generated Reality Platform: Apple's patent relates to computer generated reality systems, and more specifically to techniques for providing a computer-generated reality environment that is immersive. Such techniques can improve the user experience, increase privacy and security, and enable CGR interfaces (e.g., 3D interfaces) with advanced functionality. For more, review granted patent 11,157,739 here.

Touch Sensing with Water Rejection: Apple's patent generally relates to touch sensor panels, and more particularly to techniques for rejecting water droplets located near the edges of the touch sensor panels. For more, review granted patent 11,157,109 here.

Optical Proximity Sensor integrated into a Camera Module for an Electronic Device: Apple's patent relates to optical sensing, and, in particular, to systems and methods for integrating an optical sensing system, such as an optical interferometry proximity sensor, into a camera module configured for use with a portable or stationary electronic device. For more, review Apple's granted patent 11,156,456 here.

A Modular System for Automated iPhone Disassembly: On September 21 Patently Apple posted an IP report titled "Apple has Won a Patent for "Daisy," Apple's Second-Generation Recycling Robotic System." Today, Apple was issued granted patent 11,157,043 which is their second patent covering other aspects of a modular system for automated iPhone disassembly. Those interested could review it here.
