The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office published a series of Apple trademarks today covering the figurative mark for Apple Music's 'Up Next' and a standard trademark for 'MagSafe Battery Pack.' Apple legal also filed the updated Final Cut Pro logo trademark in Hong Kong.

 

Apple Files Figurative Trademarks for 'Up Next'

 

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has published two figurative trademark applications for Apple Music's stylized logo for 'Up Next.'

Apple filed their first 'Up Next' trademark application 90827178 specifically under International Class 038 covering:

 

"Streaming of data; streaming of audio and video material on the Internet featuring performances, documentaries, music, and interviews featuring musical artists; streaming of audio and visual content featuring musical artists; audio and video broadcasting services over the Internet featuring performances, documentaries, music, and interviews featuring musical artists; audio broadcasting and video broadcasting featuring musical artists; delivery of digital music by electronic transmission."

Apple's second Trademark filing application 90827179 for 'Up Next' was filed under International Class 041 covering:

 

"Entertainment services in the nature of development, creation, production, and distribution of musical artist video documentary series; entertainment services, namely, providing a website featuring on-line non-downloadable music, interviews, live music performances, and videos featuring musical artists; entertainment services, namely, a multimedia program series featuring musical artists distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media."  

    

Apple's Supplied 'Specimen' for Up Next

When Apple updated their video editing software 'Final Cut Pro' to 10.5 they dropped the "X" in the branding and updated its figurative logo as presented below. Apple legal has now gotten around to filing new trademark application 305689199 in Hong Kong covering the new figurative trademark.

MagSafe Battery Pack

 

Earlier today MacRumors reported on Apple's new MagSafe Battery Pack starting to ship this week worldwide. Coincidentally, the US Patent and Trademark Office published Apple's trademark filing 90826586 for 'MagSafe Battery Pack' today, though the filing actually shows that Apple filed on July 13.

Apple filed their trademark under International Class 009 covering: "Battery chargers for mobile phones; Battery packs; Smartphone battery chargers; Wireless chargers; Wireless battery chargers."
