Apple filed their trademark specifically under International Class 041 Covering: "Entertainment services, namely, a program for presentation of awards in recognition of distinguished achievement in the fields of entertainment, video arts, and music; entertainment services, namely, live performances by musical artists and music groups; providing audio, video, and webcast programs in the field of music; providing live and prerecorded music, musical performances, audio clips, video clips, photographs, news, reviews and other multimedia articles in connection with the field of music via website and computer applications; providing entertainment, music, and arts and cultural programming by means of telecommunications networks; providing entertainment, music, and arts and culture programming via websites and computer applications."

To secure the trademark, Apple originally filed it in Jamaica in late 2020 under application number 82027.
