Last week Ming-Chi Kuo made several predictions about future iPhone camera lens improvements with one revelation being that Apple's AR/MR head-mounted display device uses 15 cameras, so the number of plastic lenses used will increase significantly.

It's being reported this morning that a brief update note from Ming-Chi Kuo today identified a new iPhone camera lens supplier Yujingguang. More interesting is that suppliers Largan and Yujingguang are currently cooperating with Apple to develop AR/MR HMD lenses for the second quarter of 2022 and 48MP high-end lenses for the 2022 iPhones.
