With the App Store under Pressure from Government Investigations, Apple Highlights the App Store on their Homepage Today
In June Patently Apple posted a report titled "Apple responds swiftly to two new EU Antitrust Investigations into their App Store and Apple Pay Practices." Since that time Apple has been under pressure by the U.S. Antitrust investigation with companies and competitors like Spotify, Epic Games, Microsoft and others complaining bitterly against Apple's App Store. With so much pressure on the App Store, Apple has highlighted an App Store segment leading to a dedicated App Store page that educates fans and critics alike as to what the value of the App Store is.
Apple states on this dedicated page: "For over a decade, the App Store has proved to be a safe and trusted place to discover and download apps. But the App Store is more than just a storefront — it’s an innovative destination focused on bringing you amazing experiences. And a big part of those experiences is ensuring that the apps we offer are held to the highest standards for privacy, security, and content. Because we offer nearly two million apps — and we want you to feel good about using every single one of them."

There's a lot more to review as many of Apple's selling points about the Apple Store are found in the expandable graphics found on their webpage. Apple wants to educate Apple fans and the public in general about the values of the App Store because all they're hearing in the press is from governmental bodies seeking political and monetary gain and from competitors envious of Apple's platform.
While the arguments about the pros and cons of the App Store could go back and forth for weeks, you should check out Apple's App Store message and see the value of the store for yourself here.
