Apple Tops Forbes 2020 list of Most Valuable Brands in the World
When it comes to brand value, it’s hard to topple Big Tech. On Forbes’ 2020 list of the 100 most valuable brands, the top five are the same as last year: Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Facebook. And while the first four have maintained or increased their pace of growth, Facebook has fallen. In fact, the social network’s brand value declined by 21% between fiscal-year 2018 and fiscal-year 2019.

Early this morning Patently Apple posted a report titled "In Q2, Apple had a Monster iPhone Quarter in China with Growth more than 2.3 Times that of Huawei without a 5G smartphone."
In the midst of COVID-19 Apple was able to grow their iPhone business, in China no less, by 32% which clobbered Huawei. More importantly, Apple's other competition in China, mainly being Vivo, Oppo and Xiaomi all delivered double digit losses in growth year over year.
That takes a special brand and a top executive team in order to pull that off. So there shouldn't be any surprise that Apple won top spot in Forbes global brand list for 2020.
