Apple has been Granted Five Design Patents for their Rack Mount version of the new Mac Pro
Apple was granted five design patents with a total of 30 images for their Rack Mounted version of the new Mac Pro. The rack mount features the airflow‑maximizing 3D lattice and stainless-steel handles on the front and tool‑less stainless-steel slide rails in place of feet or optional wheels.
Unlike "patent applications" that provide the public with an abstract, summary and details of an invention, design patents published around the world are limited to only providing the public with design patent figures. No additional specifics of the design are made available.
Design Patents for Rack Mount Version of Mac Pro
The collage below covers two design patents that provides the best graphics covering the Rack Mount. The remainder of the patents cover single aspects of a design such as the rack's handles. Although it's necessary for Apple to ensure that every aspect of the design in legally covered, it would be like watching grass grow if I had to post all images that narrowly differ from one another.
