A new analytical report claims that Apple gained share with their custom processor for iPad in 2019. Instead of pitting Apple against vendors like Huawei, Strategy Analytics chose another statistical approach by listing the top tablet processor vendors.

Apple was first with 44% market share with Qualcomm and Intel in a tie with 16% each and 'others' (being Samsung LSI and MediaTek) accounting for the remaining 24% without a stat breakdown.  

While Strategy Analytics claimed that Apple gained market share in 2019, they failed to provide any light on how much the gain was.

Although Apple was clearly the winner in 2019 by a wide margin, the company chose to focus on Windows tablet processors from Intel and Qualcomm even though combined were less than Apple's share. You could read more of this odd report here.
