Late yesterday the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office published Apple's latest registered trademarks for "iPadOS" and "Mac." Apple has updated their Mac trademark to cover "Monitors, display screens, virtual and augmented reality displays and more.

"iPadOS" is now a Registered Trademark

Apple filed for iPadOS under International Class 09 with the following coverage:

"Downloadable computer software to maintain and operate computer system; Downloadable computer operating software; Downloadable computer software development tools."

Update to "Mac" Trademark (RTM)

Apple filed their trademark under International Class 09 with the following coverage:

"Telecommunications apparatus and instruments; Apparatus for the transmission of voice, data, images, audio, video, and multimedia content; Network communication apparatus; Electronic book readers; Computer software for setting up, configuring, operating and controlling computers, computer peripherals, mobile devices, mobile telephones, smartwatches, wearable devices, earphones, headphones, set top boxes, audio and video players and recorders, home theatre systems, and entertainment systems; Biometric identification and authentication apparatus; Monitors, display screens, virtual and augmented reality displays; Cameras sold as a component feature of computers; Flashes for cameras sold as a component feature of computers; Keyboards, mice, mouse pads, track pads and touch bars; Sound recording and reproducing apparatus; Digital audio and video players and recorders; Audio speakers; Audio amplifiers and receivers; Voice recording and voice recognition apparatus; Microphones sold as a component feature of computers; Radios; Radio transmitters and receivers; Data storage apparatus; Electrical connectors, wires, and cables; electronic agendas."

For the record, trademark classes are important because the trademark registration will only protect Apple's trademark(s) in the classes that have been identified in their application.
