The Soviet Union divided Germany in two by resurrecting a wall in 1961. In 1987 President Reagan Delivered his famous line: "Mr. Gorbachev, take down this wall" as presented below.

On November 9, 1989 the Berlin Wall finally came down. Today marks the thirtieth anniversary of the event. Apple's homepage in Germany today commemorates that day as our cover graphic presents. Below is Tim Cook's tweet made earlier today.
