Apple's CEO Delivered a Speech about the Company's work on Climate Change and more at the 30th Anniversary of Ceres
Apple's CEO has been busy in the last week flying to China to meet with the chief of China’s market regulator Xiao Yaqing. The day after Apple's CEO was named the new Chairman of the Advisory Board of the School of Economics in Beijing, China. Last night Apple's CEO was a keynote speaker at the 30th anniversary of Ceres.
Ceres is a sustainability nonprofit organization working with the most influential investors and companies to build leadership and drive solutions throughout the economy. Last night Apple's Tim Cook wasn't just a speaker but also a noted Honoree. Below is a video overview of the work Ceres does.

Cook noted in his keynote that "We don't see climate change as risk, but opportunity," said Cook. "With our supply chain partners, we see a chance to develop new and valuable competencies, because it is the right thing to do."

Earlier this month The Independent interviewed Lisa Jackson, Apple's vice president of environment, policy and social initiatives, spoke about how Apple's product designers are always looking at ways to improve its designs in context to the environmental impact and how to improve it.
