Last August Patently Apple posted a report titled "Apple Gives a Straight-to-Series Order for Isaac Asimov's Short Story Series about Humans Living Under the Galactic Empire." The trilogy of books from Isaac Asimov starts with the title "Foundation."

We're now learning that Apple's ten part series titled 'Foundation' will star  Jared Harris and Lee Pace. Haris is an Emmy nominee for his role in "Chernobyl" and Lee previously starred in "Halt and Catch Fire."  

Harris will star as Hari Seldon, a mathematical genius who predicts the demise of the empire. Pace is set as Brother Day, the current Emperor of the Galaxy.
