The LG V50 5G smartphone launched this week and Unbox Therapy provides us with a walkthrough. The one thing that I wanted to point out is the phone's new snap-in 'second 'display' cover case accessory.

The segment of the review covering this accessory starts at around the 8:05 minute mark of the video below. For an extra $199 you get an extra display.

It's not as fancy as Samsung's Galaxy Fold or Huawei's Mate X folding phone, but it delivers a lot of the same value and at a price that makes sense for a lot of smartphone fans. It's the folding phone for students and the average working man.

The question becomes, could this become an industry trend, and more importantly, a trend that Apple could be interested in providing their fans with? Send in your comments below.
