Apple launches their first Apple Card TV Ad to build consumer awareness in the U.S.
Last Tuesday Apple officially launched Apple Card for all US customers and today they're introducing its first commercial for the card to expand awareness of the card's availability in the U.S. Apple states in the ad: "Introducing a new kind of credit card. Created by Apple, not a bank. Sign up right on your iPhone, and start using your Apple Card in minutes."
In between time Apple posted an Apple Card support page warning customers of a problem with the new titanium card. Apple notes on their support page that the titanium card is laser-etched with the card holder's name and the Apple logo. A white finish is achieved through a multi-layer coating process that's added to the titanium base material.
If the titanium Apple Card comes into contact with hard surfaces or materials, it's possible that the coating can be damaged. More specifically Apple noted that some fabrics, like leather and denim, might cause permanent discoloration that will not wash off.
