Over the last month or so the Hong Kong Patent Office has been busy granted Apple close to 200 design patents. Just on Friday Apple was granted 24 design patents and 21 images. Our report covers four themes including Augmented Reality, Walkie-Talkie and more.

Unlike "patent applications" that provide the public with an abstract, summary and details of an invention, design patents published around the world are limited to only providing the public with design patent figures. No additional specifics of the design are made available.

3 Design Patents: Retail Counter

The Hong Kong Patent Office published three design patents for a 'Retail Counter' on Friday under numbers 1900038.1M001 to .1M003. The most detailed of the three Retail Counter design patents is presented below. The design patent was filed under Locarno Class 20-02 for "Display stand" or unit. It's unknown at this time if the retail counter is for their Apple Stores or for partnering store-in-store locations like Best Buy.

3 Design Patents: iPhone XS/XS Max Smart Battery Case

The Hong Kong Patent Office published three design patents for the iPhone Smart Battery Case (XS and XS Max)  on Friday under numbers 1900003.7M001 to 7M003. The most detailed of the three design patents is presented below.  The design patent was filed under Locarno Class 3-01 covering: "cases specifically designed for their contents."

Multiple Design Patents: AR & Walkie-Talkie

Apple was granted a series of other design patents on Friday. Below you'll find Apple's "measure" icon for their utility app along with other AR related user interfaces or animated user interfaces.

For design patent 1802385.7M012 shown below, Apple was granted a total of 10 design patents covering this image in black and white, gray and yellow and in different orientations (not shown).

Lastly, Apple was granted a series of 11 design patents relating to "Walkie-Talkie" for Apple Watch. Below are just four of the design patents. The designs presented directly above and below were filed under Locarno Class 14-04 covering "Graphical user interfaces and icons"
