Apple has filed for the 'Core Haptics' Trademark today in Hong Kong under class 9 which specifically covers "Downloadable computer software development tools." Trademark classes are important because the trademark registration will only protect Apple's trademark(s) in the classes that have been identified in their application.

Core Haptics was introduced at this year's WWDC and the slides from the presentation put on by Apple's Michael Diu and Doug Scott titled "Introducing Core Haptics" are presented below.
