Samsung's Galaxy S10-5G will be First 5G Smartphone to hit the Market in the First Week in April
A Korean report posted today revealed that Samsung Electronics stated earlier today that it will release its first 5G smartphone in the first week of April in South Korea, which will be the world’s first mobile device with the next-generation network capability. Samsung's Galaxy S10’s 5G model will go on sale on April 5, without a pre-order program.
Customers that buy early and register online will receive free Galaxy Buds, and a wireless charging package.

Comparing Apples AirPods which are sold to giveaways from Huawei and now Samsung will ensure that future IDC reports on wearables will unjustly show Apple losing their huge lead.
The Korean report further noted that On March 18, the state-run National Radio Research Agency said Galaxy S10’s 5G model has passed its signal verification test, giving the green light for its launch in the domestic market.
Korea’s three mobile carriers have been preparing to roll out their commercial 5G service for Samsung’s smartphone built for the high-speed network.
Samsung’s schedule is about a week earlier than US carrier Verizon’s plan to launch its first 5G smartphone service on Motorola’s MotoZ3, essentially a 4G phone with a special attachment that gives it 5G capability, in Chicago and Minneapolis on April 11.
Lastly, the Korean report noted that "Samsung didn’t disclose its price, but it is expected to cost around 1.5 million won (US$1,332) in the domestic market, according to industry sources.
If the rumored pricing actually pans out, it would be a huge mistake on Samsung's part. Last Month Xiaomi announced their 5G Mi MIX3's starting price will be 599€ (US$683) or about half of the rumored Samsung price. The Mi MIX is set to launch in Europe in May.
We reported yesterday that Samsung had stated during their annual shareholder's meeting that they're in crisis mode because of smartphone sales stagnation.
