While for many Apple winning Fortunes "World's Most Admired Companies" again is like a broken record. Forbes looked past a partial shaky quarter that many companies are going through with China's economy tanking. The win for 2019 continues Apple's long streak to twelve years in a row.

Apple's best friend Samsung came in at number 50, Microsoft at number 6 and Amazon at number 2. You could review the full top 100 companies list here.

If you thought that being the number one admired company in the world would automatically score Tim Cook as the top CEO, think again. Microsoft's CEO Satya Nadella scored highest. To see where Cook ended up, check out the short list here.

As noted in our cover graphic, Berkshire Hathaway came in as the third most admired company in the world that just happens to also be a huge investor in Apple.

Reuters reported back in January 2019 that "Buffett has made Apple a centerpiece of his portfolio of other company’s stocks, touting his own use of the Cupertino, California-based company’s products and saying at his annual shareholders’ meeting in Omaha last May, "We would love to see Apple go down in price," so he could buy more at a bargain.
