A new Statista report today presents us with statistics from Priori Data that show us the top ten iPhone apps generating the most revenue in the U.S. in August. The winner was Netflix who grossed almost $30 million last month on iPhone, a huge $9 million more than the second most lucrative, battle royale game Fortnite.

With Netflix continually winning the top app of the month, it's no wonder why Apple is preparing to launch their own video streaming service in the not-too-distant future.
