Apple Granted 16 Design Patents Covering the Mac Pro Tower, Various iPhones, a Gaming Headset and more
Earlier today Patently Apple posted a granted patent report titled "Apple Won 61 Granted Patents Today Covering Face ID's Pattern Projection System, a Future Apple Watch Band & more." In our second report we cover Apple's granted design patents that were published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office today. In total Apple was granted 16 design patents with the major designs covering a series of iPhones, the rounded mini Mac Pro tower, Beats gaming headset and an Apple Store display as presented further below.
The gaming headset design patent is now under Apple, but it goes back to a 2013 design patent under 'Beats Electronics.' While the product is currently defunct, Apple of course could always resurrect the headset to accommodate hardcore gamers in the future.
