Apple is offering their $29 Out-of-Warranty iPhone battery Replacement Offer Effective Immediately
Aiming to further stem controversy over how it handles aging iPhone batteries, Apple said Saturday that its lower replacement price will go into effect immediately. "We expected to need more time to be ready, but we are happy to offer our customers the lower pricing right away," Apple said in a statement to Axios. "Initial supplies of some replacement batteries may be limited." This is a change from their original message this week that pointed to the battery replacement offer starting in late January. Because of so many class action lawsuits piling in, Apple legal probably sounded the alarm to get a fix for customers NOW.
