Cedars-Sinai's Health App that's available for the iPhone is now available for Apple Watch

If you purchased your new Apple Watch series 3 to stay on top of your health, then you should be aware that Cedars-Sinai has launched a new update to their iOS mobile app and for the first time ever, the update includes an Apple Watch compatible version.

 

As part of our commitment to bringing the best technology to our patients, Cedars-Sinai is proud to be one of the first hospitals in the US to offer an Apple Watch app.

 

Matthew Pufall, mobile product manager at Cedars-Sinai states that "This update and addition of the Apple Watch app brings a whole new level of accessibility to our patients. It's really exciting to provide our patients even more ways to stay connected with their health as well as with Cedars-Sinai."

The free app, which pairs with your iPhone has many convenient features, including:

 

  • Hospital and urgent care locations
  • Maps and directions to the location closest to you
  • The ability to call a recently searched doctor directly from the app

 

Darren Dworkin, Cedars-Sinai CIO stated that "Whether patients are at one of our hospitals, medical offices, or at home, our goal is to leverage technology to put their health records in their hands by meeting them where they are."
