1AF 2017 - cover X99 NEW YORKER EVENT

The New Yorker's Tech Fest page states that "After an exciting first year, The New Yorker will once again gather together the innovators, dealmakers, and geniuses who are changing the world. Join the magazine's editor, David Remnick, and its acclaimed staff of writers and editors as they investigate the stories of tomorrow, today."The event takes place on October 6th.

When you go to The New Yorker Tech Fest website they clearly list Apple's Jonathan Ive attending the event as a guest and this is what you get when you click on Ive's photo: Nothing. Yet if you click on their Twitter page you get a photo of Ive. Click on the photo and then mouse over the photo you get to see what he'll actually be talking about at the bottom. As noted in our graphic below, it says he'll be talking about "Designing the Future."

The New Yorker published a massive interview / report back in 2015 titled "The Shape of Things to Come" – How an industrial designer became Apple's greatest product. If you've never read it, this is your chance.
