Apple Reportedly Tells Contract Partners to Prepare for a Massive iPhone X Ramp-UP next Quarter
Barron's is reporting that Apple has "told its contract manufacturers and chip suppliers to prepare for a massive ramp-up in manufacturing of the supposed 'iPhone X' starting next quarter, according to research by boutique analyst house BlueFin Research Partners. The analysts believe Apple is expecting lots of pent-up demand to soak up tens of millions of the new device with an OLED screen." On August 04 Patently Apple posted a report titled "Samsung is Reportedly Ramping up OLED Display Production for Apple this Month by a Whopping 7-Fold," which somewhat confirms the BlueFin report.
