Apple Files for 'Beddit' and 'WaveBurner' Trademarks
On May 09 Patently Apple posted a report titled "Apple Acquires Beddit, Developer behind a Sleep Tracking App." Apple has now filed for a trademark covering this product name starting in Hong Kong. Apple has filed their application under five international classes covering such things as electronic sensors that measure and track general well-being, sleep patterns, sleep quality, respiration sounds, respiration movements, heart rate, limb movements and more. It's also covered as a medical device and for medical research as well as for beds, linens, bedroom furniture and more. And lastly, Apple's trademark renewal for WaveBurner popped up in the Hong Kong database this week. What that's about is unknown at this time.

Apple Files for 'WaveBurner' Trademark in Hong Kong
WaveBurner is/was a Mac OS X professional application bundled with Logic Studio. I don't know if this is being blindly updated or renewed for legal purposes unknown or if this app is going to make a comeback – though it's hard to see that happening. Nevertheless, the trademark filing in-part is shown below popping up in the Hong Kong database this week.
Apple filed their trademark under 09 covering "Computer software; computer software for the mastering, encoding and burning of compact discs."
