Apple Sends out Press Invites to WWDC 2017
On Tuesday afternoon, Apple began inviting media to its WWDC keynote, noting that the festivities will kick off at 10 a.m. Pacific on June 5. This year's keynote will be held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California. With Amazon launching their new 'Echo Show' with 7" touch display to advance their digital assistant device today and Apple's Phil Schiller weighing in on such devices last week, could we see Apple introduce a new Siri driven home device during the keynote? While the buzz is certainly building on that front, we'll have to remain cautious so as to not overhype it. But at the end of the day, there's nothing like a nice surprise at an Apple event to get the community pumped up.
