On Sunday evening Patently Apple posted a report covering Samsung's live conference revealing the official findings of the Note 7 fires from three safety organizations along with some graphics/slides from the event. Since that time Samsung has posted a brief video covering the official finds and a little propaganda / marketing to smoothing things over with consumers showing their new and improved safety measures to ensure that future smartphone won't catch on fire.

Earlier today we posted a report titled "Reality Strikes Samsung as Smartphone Sales Drop to Lowest Level since 2011." Samsung's Note 7 disaster was a painful pill for Samsung to swallow at a time when companies like Huawei, Oppo and Vivo are continuing to erode their market share in China. Their Note 7 smartphone disaster directly resulted in reporting their worst year in smartphone sales in five 5 years.
