Apple wins Several Watch Band Design Patents in Hong Kong & Trademarks the Name of their new Design Book
Last Friday the Hong Kong Patent and Trademark Office granted Apple three Apple Watch related design patents. In addition, Apple filed for the trademark "Designed by Apple in California" in Europe that covers their new industrial design book that was launched before Christmas 2016. Unlike "patent applications," design patents published by any Patent and Trademark Office around the world don't reveal any pertinent information about a particular design beyond a bland generic title and a series of graphics as you'll see below.
Design Patent: Apple Watch Band – Nylon Weave
Last Friday the Hong Kong Patent and Trademark Office granted Apple two design patents for Apple Watch Band / Woven Nylon under numbers1601462.9 and 1601462.7 which in-part is presented below. Apple introduced their new Woven Nylon band back in March 2016.

Granted Design: Apple Watch Retail Packaging
The Hong Kong Patent and Trademark Office granted Apple design patent #1600420.8 on Friday, January 20, 2017 for Apple Watch retail packaging as noted in the patent figures below.
Designed by Apple in California
On November 15, 2016 Apple announced the release of a new hardbound book chronicling 20 years of Apple's design, expressed through 450 photographs of past and current Apple products. "Designed by Apple in California," which covers products from 1998's iMac® to 2015's Apple Pencil®, also documents the materials and techniques used by Apple's design team over two decades of innovation.
Late last week Apple filed for a trademark covering their new Book's titled "designed by Apple in California," in London England, covering all of Europe. Their application #016273112 is noted below in-part. Apple filed their trademark under International Class #16 covering such things as books, publications, promotional material and more as detailed below.
