As the year winds down and you all get ready for a nice Christmas day with your family I'd like to just take a moment of your time to wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I'd also like to thank those who visit Patently Apple every day for news on Apple that includes insights into their inventions through patent reports. 

Just this morning a family from Mexico sent me a photo of their family saying hello and telling me that they liked the photo in the story showing Santa on his sleigh today. You have to wonder how Santa is able to shift from the freezing North Pole through Canada down to the sweltering heat of Mexico. That sleigh must have "magic" air conditioning courtesy of Jony Ive and his magic elves. 

I'm always amazed at the amount of new fans Patently Apple gains each and every year from around the world. While it's always great to gain fans in North America, I still feel like a kid when I see that people from India, China, South Korea, Australia, the UK, Russia and elsewhere join us every day. For a couple of hours everyday we all forget our differences and share common ground on all things Apple.
