Fantastic New Apple TV Flyover Screen Saver Videos Debuted Last Night
Have you seen some of the new video flyover videos now playing on Apple TV when in screen-saver mode? In a single word: Wow. I remember President-elect Trump during his campaign saying how badly American cities needed to be renewed and have their infrastructure rebuilt. He talked about seeing airports and cities around the world that are so advanced compared to American cities and airports and said it was time to put America first instead of nation building. He specifically pointed to Dubai. Last night I wanted to start watching the new Netflix series ''The OA." My wife and I took a break after part two and when we came back the new video flyover of Dubai at night was running. I was stunned. I thought it was a science fiction scene from a movie or an invention of someone's artist flair. I kept saying, what is this? I think it could be Dubai. My wife looked it up on her iPhone and it was. What a stunning downtown to behold. The photo below shows their light train transit system and above ground station which truly looks like something out of Star Trek. The architecture is fantastic. This is what a city should look like. Did I say Wow?
In a second screenshot you could see their transit station at the lower left side towards the bottom and again below from in an arial shot during the day.
The two screenshots below are Dubai's downtown waterway shot during the day.
New Apple TV Video Screen Savers
Below is a series of Apple TV Video Flyovers of Dubai during the day and at Night. Even though the video below is very nice, you have to see it at night on your HDTV in dim lighting to really appreciate the beauty of the night videos. Note that each video takes 30-50 seconds to download as they're not YouTube videos but rather videos from Apple's server.

Night 1 (My Favorite)
When you see the marvel of Dubai and read about how women don't have to wear burkas and have the freedom to drive a vehicle and see their modern society, it's a testiment, one of the few testiments, to an Islamic city that is sane and not driven by theology. You can only hope that this could be the future of that part of the world, instead of the warring factions everywhere else in the Middle East. Apple opened a few Store in Dubai earlier this year (stories one, two and three).
For more videos covering Greenland, China, Liwa (UAE – Desert-scape), Hong Kong and Los Angeles, check out the iDownloadBlog who did the work to get the videos. Excellent work guys (thanks).
