Two years ago Pegatron got 15% of Apple's 4.7" iPhone 6 business and vowed to expand their production capacity to meet Apple's demands. Today we're learning that for the month of June, Pegatron's revenues took an unexpected leap of 30% on the year and 40.27% on the month based on their ability to aggressively pull in new orders for June. They were expecting a poor quarter due to poor demand visibility. However, with that kind of unexpected leap in orders for June, one has to wonder if they were successful in winning more iPhone 7 orders. Then again, it could be that Apple is expecting greater demand for the iPhone 7 than most think.
