Apple Won Four Design Patents in Hong Kong this Week for a Charger and User Interfaces
Apple was granted four design patents in Hong Kong yesterday covering a charger and two user interfaces. Apple's "animated user interface" design win may relate to 3D touch.
Unlike "patent applications," design patents published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and/or any other Patent Office, don't reveal pertinent information about a particular design. All we are given is a series of simple photos and/or line-art graphics of what was actually registered as noted below.

Note: If anyone knows what this Apple design is related to, send us a comment below. If you can, send us a link to where we can verify it. Thanks.
Patently Apple reader Mark Hughes wrote in to say that "The GUI design is the Live Photos indicator, visible in the top left corner of the screen when editing photos." Thanks Mark.
A Note for Tech Sites covering our Report: We ask tech sites covering our report to kindly limit the use of our graphics to one image. Thanking you in advance for your cooperation.
