Apple wins Two Design Patents for a User Interface Element Related to iMessage
Over the weekend Patently Apple posted as series of design patent reports covering iOS Maps, the Apple Watch magnetic charging dock, Apple Pencil replacement tips and the Apple Store's 'Grove'. The last two in the group of granted design patents from Hong Kong relate to Apple's iMessage. The designs focus on a voice and video graphical user interface element.
Unlike "patent applications," design patents published by the U.S. or foreign Patent and Trademark Offices don't reveal pertinent information about a particular design. All we get are simple visuals in the form of patent figures as noted below.
