Apple Granted 50 Patents Today Covering NFC Antennas, Apple Remote & Apple Watch Designs
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office officially published a series of 50 newly granted patents for Apple Inc. today. In this particular report we cover four Apple Watch design patents, the Apple Remote App and NFC antennas designed for iOS devices. We wrap up this week's granted patent report with our traditional listing of the remaining granted patents that were issued to Apple today.
Granted Patent: Electronic Device with Near-Field Antenna Operating through Display
Apple's newly granted patent covers their invention relating to iOS devices such as Apple Watch, using Near-Field Communications Antenna through the display.
Apple's granted patent 9,356,661 was originally filed in Q2 2014 and published today by the US Patent and Trademark Office.
Granted Patent: Multi-Screen Video User Interface
Apple's newly granted patent covers their invention relating to video displays, and in particular to methods and mechanisms for utilizing multiple display devices in a multimedia content access and management system. The patent covers managing interactions between multiple devices, such as a tablet computer and a television to enhance the user's experience. In effect, the patent covers Apple's TV Remote App
Apple's granted patent 9,357,250 was filed in Q1 2014 with original work dating back to 2013.

Apple was granted four design patents today relating to various aspects of Apple Watch from bands through to "electronic device" as noted below.
