Apple Files Formal Objection to Unlock Terrorist's iPhone
Late yesterday Apple filed a formal objection in the case involving an FBI request to unlock an iPhone used by one of the San Bernardino shooters. The document filed in U.S. District Court made good on Apple's promise to fight a judge's Feb 16. order compelling it to assist investigators. The filing notes that Apple "formally objects" to the order out of an "abundance of caution."
NBC New York reminded us that the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California will hear from both parties in the Apple vs. FBI case at a hearing on March 22.
