Last month we posted a report titled "Apple's Smaller iPad Pro Launching Next Month Likely to Support Apple Pencil, the Best Digital Pen(cil) on the Market Today." In that report we had noted that the new date for the Apple event changed to the week of March 21 and today it was confirmed that the event will take place on that very day.

It's been rumored that Apple will introduce their all-new 4" iPhone branded the iPhone SE along with a new 9.7" iPad that they'll rebrand as the Pad Pro, dropping the moniker "iPad Air 3."

Here's to hoping that the event will be charged with excitement over new and updated products without added drama and politics over their encryption battle with the FBI. They could deal with that issue the following day when they're due in court with the government over a motion that could compel them to help hack an iPhone used by one of the San Bernardino terrorists.
