According to the Wall Street Journal, a fire broke out on Sunday evening at Foxconn Technology Group's main iPhone manufacturing complex in the Chinese city of Zhengzhou, though there were no reported casualties or production impact, the company said. Local authorities said they are investigating the cause of the fire. The fire began in the central air conditioning fan and ventilation ducts on the roof of one of Foxconn's Zhengzhou plants, according to a statement on the website of the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, the industrial area where Foxconn's factories are located. Zhengzhou is the capital of central China's Henan province. Earlier today Foxconn confirmed that the fire occurred and said there was no manufacturing impact.
