Two Videos: Eddy Cue Talks about Apple's Original AT&T Deal for the iPhone and a Hidden Apple TV Feature
Last Wednesday Mobile World Live provided highlights of a fireside chat between the senior Apple exec Eddy Cue and AT&T Mobility's Glenn Lurie. The industry leaders reveal the challenges to the deal, while Cue also reflects on working with Steve Jobs and the company's plans to shake up the TV market. He also talked about the Aaron Sorkin film 'Steve Jobs' being fiction and strayed from the facts and more. The full version of the video could be viewed here.
Eddy Cue was busy last Wednesday as he also interviewed by CNN's Brian Stelter about whether the tech giant is looking to create content and if Apple TV can ever replace your cable box. We covered the video interview in our report titled "Apple VP Eddy Cue Talks about a Future Apple TV Feature that is actually Patent Pending."
It's here where Eddy Cue reveals a hidden interactive Apple TV feature that could be tapped into this year that will allow an Apple TV user to watch a CNN interview, for example, and give it a thumbs up or thumbs down by using the touch pad on the new remote. Eddy Cue further stated in the interview that "the technology is there and this is the first time it's going to be available on a TV."
