Apple is Stepping up their Focus in Both Enterprise & Educational Markets in India
Apple's CEO Tim Cook met with India's Prime Minister in San Jose in late September and it now appears that Apple is taking their first action in India since that meeting. According to a new Indian report, Apple is for the first time targeting corporates and institutions in India to open up newer growth engines for its iPhones, iPads and iMacs in the country. The Company has reportedly appointed over 130 dedicated corporate resellers across the country and the target is now to grow this network to over 200 resellers by March 2016.
Apple's latest move is expecting to raise its revenues from the enterprise sector 15-20% of its business in India which will lower their risk from any slowdown in the consumer market.
Two of Apple's trade partners have said that Apple is also creating a separate network of dealers for the education sector through which it will offer both product and integrated software solutions to schools, colleges and higher education institutions.
