Apple's senior VP of Worldwide marketing Phil Schiller announced this morning that "iOS 9 is also off to an amazing start, on pace to be downloaded by more users than any other software release in Apple's history." The day before iOS 9 debuted Apple had hit 87% market penetration with iPhone users for iOS 8. Apple's iPhone 6s goes on sales this Friday.
