This Year's BoxWorks Fireside Conversation Event will have Apple's CEO Discussing the Impact of iOS in the Enterprise
Apple's CEO Tim Cook will be one of the keynote speakers at this year's BoxWorks event being held at Moscone between September 28-30 along with John Chambers of Cisco and Ed Catmull Co-founder and President of Pixar.
The CEO and Co-founder & Chairman of Box Aaron Levie will chat with Tim Cook in a fireside conversation to be held on September 29.
According to Aaron Levie's statement, "Apple has the distinction of being one of the most transformative companies in the enterprise — without being what we'd normally consider an enterprise company. The launches of iPhone in 2007, App Store in 2008, and iPad in 2010 dramatically changed our lives as consumers, and they also altered the course of enterprise technology.
Tim and I will discuss Apple's role in enterprise, and where they plan to go from here. Beyond Apple's unfathomable influence on the technology landscape, I admire Tim immensely as a leader and an individual, and hopefully we can also talk about his impact beyond tech to make the world a better place."
Apple's CEO is bound to talk up the success of the Apple-IBM enterprise alliance and the 100 enterprise application goal that the MobileFirst project has set for 2015 and possibly touch on the fact that iOS still dominates the Enterprise Market by a Wide Margin with iPad-activations in the 81% range.
