One More … No, Thirteen More Things about Apple Watch Bands
Just when I thought there weren't any more designs to be found, bam, thirteen more design patents were uncovered on page three of the Hong Kong Patent Office's database. They had skipped a page. In total, Apple has been granted 38 design patents for the Apple Watch, bands, packaging, in-store displays and more. Apple is making sure that every Apple Watch band is covered from every conceivable angle knowing copycats are out in full bloom.
Unlike "patent applications," design patents published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and/or any other Patent Office, don't reveal pertinent information about a particular design. All we get are simple visuals as noted in this report.
Thirteen More Apple Watch Design Patents
Out of the thirteen new designs that were found late this afternoon, there are four Milanese designs, four link bracelet designs, four modern buckle designs and one plain generic overview design (2M002).
